INTRODUCING THE BRAND
SASSY BEAUTIFUL GIRL
SBG stands for Sassy Beautiful Girl — a wearable art brand made for girls who stand out, speak their mind, and embrace what makes them different.
Founded between Winter 2023 and Spring 2024, SBG was created as a way to bring original art into everyday life. What started as clothing, accessories, and creative pieces made through a daily art practice became a brand built to let those pieces move through the world.
MEET THE FOUNDER
A LIFE OF FASHION AND ART
The founder of SBG has been a student of fashion for most of her life, beginning with a Nylon Magazine subscription her mom gifted her when she was nine years old.
Since then, she has continued building her creative path through sewing classes, an internship with DC Fashion Week 2024, hands-on work as an intern and on-set assistant for HOK and DJS Lifestyles, and two years studying fashion design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
SBG brings all of those influences together through pieces that feel personal, expressive, and made with real creative energy.

SBG is colorful, rich, maximalist, sophisticated, and full of life. The brand is inspired by flowers, animals, nature, seasonal cycles, spirituality, ancient art, and the mix of cultures that shaped the founder’s eye growing up in Washington, D.C.
The mission is to remind people that being different is not something to hide. SBG is for anyone who lives authentically, thinks curiously, and appreciates life in all its details. Each piece is made to help people accept their quirks, enjoy their individuality, and wear what makes them feel like themselves.
